Tile Table

Another phase I went through was building my own furniture. I made this piece from vintage table legs which had this great patina going on, a piece of vintage decorative iron gate, which has a European flavor to it and several vintage cast iron leaves which I found in a bunch of scrap from way old defunct casting company. I created a tile pattern on and under the glass with broken Mexican tile. I was just looking to create the feel of something ancient and lost. This is a prefect hall table... meant to live up against a wall. It would look great with a nice vase of flowers on it don't you think? Ah... I would suggest pick up... unless you are so in love with it that you will allow me to drop it at a pack and ship place and let them do the work.
